Honesty. Integrity. Communication. Trust. These are values instilled in Candace as a child and allowed her to work closely with sensitive information in the banking industry for over 5 years. Candace became a notary while working at the bank and also received recognitions for being a team player. After being a notary for a year, Candace decided to utilize her commission as a signing agent. Candace became a member for the National Notary Association after completing and passing the NNA certification and background screening. Additional training and certification were obtained with the Loan Signing System. Within three months of being a signing agent, Candace has been offered opportunities to be on the preferred notary list for some clients. 

Prior to becoming a notary, Candace received her BA in Small Business Management at the University of Phoenix in 2014. After graduating, she continued working at the bank and eventually decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Growing up Candace loved the beauty and intricate details of decorative cakes and in 2011 she founded Cake Day Events. Candace loves serving her clients and to see the joy in their eyes when they receive their cake masterpiece. Being a sole proprietor has taught Candace endurance, patience, discipline, and organization. 

It may seem as though a notary and cake decorator are on opposite industries, but both have contributed to Candace's skills of being detail oriented, properly managing time/appointments, managing customer files, and most importantly having a happy customer.
