Times change and we have to learn to change with them. That is what makes this week's spotlight Notary, Mr. Stephen Reich, the prime example of the impact that a notary can have on another individual’s life as a result of hearing, listening, and acting.

Stephen Reich is the owner of Stephen’s Notary Services hailing from Bronx, New York! A veteran and master of his craft, Mr. Reich has a heart of compassion and a dire spirit  to serve all veteran and master of his craft, Mr. Reich has a heart of compassion and a dire spirit to serve all that are in need of notarial services. Aside from doing the basic things that a notary is required to do, he also has the capability of e-notary, allowing him to notarize documents nationally and internationally alike!

The COVID-19 upset changed Mr. Reich’s entire outlook on how he formerly viewed his work as a Notary Public when he was called upon by people from numerous demographics and walks of life who stood in need of notarial services. It was during that time that Stephen realized that his “basic notary stamp/seal” was able to turn a bit of his client’s personal and internal grief into a brief smile across the miles! 

Listening and hearing others' heartache and being able to offer a glimmer of hope in the midst of heartache and headache changed the trajectory of how Stephen’s Notary Service will continue to serve the State of New York and every other city, state, and country in which he is able to offer his services in.

In his own words: “Notaries in the U.S. are low on the legal totem pole. The pandemic has given us an opportunity to rise up ... to help revitalize the economy, contribute to the common good, the opportunity to rise up ... to help revitalize the economy, contribute to the common good, and fulfill our oath to the U.S. Constitution. I have previously worked for newspapers and political campaigns. But it is my life as a pandemic notary that will leave me with the richest memories.”
